This is a passive pressurized system that works in both warm and cold climates. The system uses heat pipes to heat water inside tank without water in the vacuum tubes. Since each tube has heat pipe and works individually, the system will still work even if one tube is broken in rare occasions. Compared to the other passive non pressurized system, you will have pressurized water to provide more comfort for showers.
